Killer Hermit Crab

I was actually thinking of switching to an all snail CUC (taking notes from @Lionfish Lair ) I just cant get past the crabs picking stuff off the rocks. I have a TON of rockwork. Think snails would do that?

Luckily my other crabs have been pretty peaceful. I have a male & a female emerald crab and 2 dwarf blue leg hermits. The hermits hang out together or scuttle along eating algae off the rocks. The emeralds tend to hang out in the cracks & crevices among the rocks. It was only the red hermit that gave me issues. Luckily my friend at my LFS took him off my hands today for her crab only tank.

My 30 g has one crab not sure how he got there. Buy pods. Little shrimp basically . Live mysis if you can find them
