One of my larger hermit crabs just succeeded in killing my 2" Nassarius Snail. Two nights ago I fed the snail a little piece of shrimp...(I like to watch it eat) so I Know it was fine. Last night I saw the crab messing around with the snail but it was twice the crab's size so I didn't think much about it. This morning the snail body was floating around the bottom and the crab was in the shell cleaning it out. He killed the snail to get his shell! Anyway, I was mad but there wasn't much I could really do about it. I went out for a bit and when I came back the crab is in the shell and has it all cleaned out and is living in it, but......the shell is too big for him to move! KARMA even happens to crabs...lol
