Good Evening Everyone,

I have a quick question. I purchased two nassarius snails to my 65gal Red Sea Max 250 last week. The guys that's helping with my tank had me add two more. I add two more snails to the tank today. Their a little smaller then the first two. One of the larger snails has been attacking one of the smaller snails. Is that normal for this type of snail?

Donna

yes... how is it attacking the other snail? Are you sure the other snail isn't dead and this one is just eating it?

Not really. Sometimes they crawl all over each other.

I do have a now identified harry triton living in my tank who eats slow snails. But so far he has only eaten bumbleebee snails as they are too slow to get away. Normal nas snails I never seen attack each other, they do crawl on each other a lot though.

I've had them in my tank for years I like to see them appear as soon as food is in the tank.if you keep them fed well you don't have to worry about them attacking other things.i put a piece of shrimp under a small rock to feed mine.
