Killer tank?

Ok.. first the disappearing anemone
Then my cleaner shrimp
Now I see that the pencil urchin squeezed my emerald crb to death.

Do I need to do something?
Or is this just normal reef tank murder behaviour?
Advise?

Hard to see, but are you sure it isn't the molt of the crab that the urchin is carrying?

Doesn't look like the molt. Can't find him anywhere. But then my rock has 1000 crevices. I will wait and be patient and report if crab shows back up again.

Urchins can eat rock, and do.
Will rasp what it can catch, can strip algae well however this includes coralline algae.

Nope. Mo more kills. Replace the crab and it lives pieceful with the urchin .
