I didn't really want to buy any new livestock at this time. Thinking about pouring boiling water over the rock.

Thanks for the heads up. Probably just pour it over the rock and definitely outside unless someone has a better method.

How many aptasia in total can you see? Tank size? Pic? List of current livestock?

I can see two aptasia now. Attacked two other in last month. I'm concerned the new ones may have spread from the old ones not being completely destroyed. In a 55 gal I have a clown 2damsels and a gramma. Trumpet coral, hammer. Toadstool and assorted mushrooms and some hermits and snails.

You could pick up some 'aptasia x' or 'joe's juice' both are completely reef safe products that are easy to use and quick working. You could also pick up a couple peppermint shrimps and let them take care of it

Mix a lethal dose of kalk in a small glass, I aim for a milk consistency and load it into Julian's thing tool. Spot treat all aptasia with their last meal and watch them melt away. Never had one grow back after this application.
