I found two balls of bubble algae on two rocks that I can remove. My question is what is the best way to kill it. Soak in fresh water? Dry it out and scrape it off? What do you think?

Pour some hydrogen peroxide over them. Rinse and place back in tank. Careful not to get any on the rock or keep it to a minimum since it will kill everything it touches. Better yet get an insulin syringe and inject a tiny amount into each bubble. In a day or two they will shrivel up and die.
