Hello SWFF Members, I'm wanting to know if it would be ok for a King and Queen angel to be in the same tank ? the tank is 180 gallons

IMO no not in the long run. Both are very aggressive as adults. It could work for awhile if one is a juvi but eventually they will fight.

If they are with other large Angels you'll be fine but they will eventually outgrow the tank.

I have a King (Passer), Queen, Emperor, and Annularis in the same tank and they're fine. They were added simultaneously and the emperor is tank boss but also very docile. The king is the aggressor but is kept in check. The emperor is about 6-7", the rest are 4.75-5.25".

Just those two angels alone though is riskier I agree.

I was going to do the same thing but got some good advice from someone I respect alot. Believe it's not a good idea for the long run. I went with a king for my juvi tank. Here he is in qt for another week or so.

I'm leaning very strongly towards Cream Angel x 2 along with a Sailfin Tang x 1, Humu Picasso Triggerfish x 1, Green Birdfish x 1 with Hermit crabs x 6, Turbo Snails x 10 and maybe Cleaner Shrimp x 2

triggerfish will more than likely kill your inverts especially a humu. Niger, blue throat, and red tail triggers have a better chance with inverts

It's a gamble with two cream angels. They aren't known to play nicely. Suggest to get Angels belong to different genus.

I currently have a niger in my tank and hes great. I have a reef with inverts and hes awesome

Yea I see after doing some research I don't think ill get any triggers or the green birdfish

You can always have a back up plan. Try it, and if it doesn't work you can trade it in at the lfs or re home it. If you buy juvi's you'll have more of a chance for success. I absolutely love passer angels by the way.

How about the queen or king? Are you still gonna have one of those? Cream is a lot less colorful than those two.
I would love to but I wonder if they would be able to get along with black and white butterflies and rabbit face
