I have it as well...bought from WWC like Benny's. REAL slow grower for me, but one of the nicest in my collection. I'll get my rebel/macro out tomorrow and take a pic/ The yellow eyes in mine have little red lines in them. I'm really surprised this chalice has not had a run on it like the Vivid Echino/Pink ******* did.

BTW...I named this chalice for WWC.:wink:

eggie - i have mine in a shallow frag tank. the tank is 24x24x8 and i have 6 24" t5s over it. this is the current config, however i have another blue+ and fiji purple that i want to throw in to replace the aquablue special and one of the uvl super acts:

blue+
uvl super act
aquablue special
fiji purple
uvl super act
blue+

+1 on nice to know dave named it!

do you think 1 new eye every 1.5-2 months sounds realistic based on what you are seeing? ...or slower than that?

i have tried feeding it several times, but it hasn't taken any food in that i have seen yet.

Maybe there will be a run on it at WWC if we keep talking it up like this, hehehe! If I remember correctly...this is how Vivid sold out of the Vivid Echino during the Pink ******* craze. It all started with a thread here on R2R.

i'm assuming this is what you run? how high off the water do you have the lights, and how deep is the tank?

Its a 75 tank and I run a Power Module Like 8 inches off the the water
since my on and off is diffrent I run this combo its more a growth combo then a color one but I only run it full for 5 Hrs the rest of the time its just blue and leds supplement
and even do it pops colors very nice

We just bought a small frag from Fox yesterday, so we're hoping to get some quick growth. But unfortunately all the great ones have to grow slow, right?

I bought a frag from WWC back in late August and it has barely grown. Of all the WM's they had, I thought it was the best looking. Definitely the slowest growing chalice in my humble collection.

Here it is. I'd guess about a quarter inch growth in around 3 months. Hopefully it will pick up speed as it gets bigger.?.?.

Being it's a fairly new chalice it will be hard to fine.I know 2 private collectors that has it.It just not wide spread yet.Especially being a slow grower.
