I really like the 3rd and 4th pic on the clown just peeking out. Gotta love Harlequin tusks as well! Great stuff

all pics were taken with Nikon D300 and a Nikon 105mm Macro lens. All fish pics are taken with SB-800 remote flash at f/22, 1/250

i love the Harlequin tusk do you have it in a reef tank or fowlr? jw cause i like them but hear they will eat cleaning crews... like hermits and snails.. and cleaner shrimp...

they will for sure eat small hermits, but ive never seen them, or any other wrasse (most people forget they are a type of wrasse) eat snails.

Ive found the only snails worth keeping are the tonga nassarius snails, and conchs anyways...both of which spend 90% under the sand.

Shrimp are likely going to be hit and miss...in a 300 they would stand a decent chance, either way, im not too worried about it. =)

what about with other fish? does it try to eat smaller fish you have in your tank? cause im bout to upgrade my 55 to the biggest tank i can get thats still 4 foot.. cause i just bought a new light system...

Those are kinda neat. You can use them for all kinds of stuff too. You could put one in a "clamp lamp" and aim the light. The down side is they are not variable power, they are just full on.

Pop one in the living room, and crank the master flash way down, just enough to fire the slave, and you can get some really cool "ambient" type images of the family. Would be really cool for Christmas morning...
