kitty litter for fuge?

I've read online some info that 100% clay kitty litter can be used for fuge mud. Have you tried this and what's your results?

i would probably never try this as there is no real reason to, so many things could be in that 100% that could slowly creep out and kill 10,000% of 50.00

I believe the "Special Kitty" clay litter has no added chemicals, but I would be leery of it, honestly. I couldn't tell ya what the mineral composition is (think leaching copper, iron, etc.)

Given how special your animals will get to be to you, and how expensive, I could not possibly recommend taking that much of a risk. Save up for an alternative that's proven consistently safe.
