Hi everyone!
I'll quickly introduce myself, I'm Kiwi and I'm currently 15 years old. I'm still a student at high school. I'm planning on studying marine biology in Sydney or Pert. I currently live in the Netherlands

I now have a 60/60/55 aquarium. About 50 gallons. It's been running for over 6 months now. And the road to get here hasn't been easy, not at all. All kinds of plagues, death fish, techniques that refused to work and not to forget the big leak I just had.
It was a stupid buy after all. Second handed due to a budget. I know this is an expensive hobby, but I can't spend thousands as I'm just a student. I hoped that everything would be alright and it would be a 'steady' start. I don't even want to talk about it... A lot of things went wrong. And the aquarium sucked. The technique was cheap and old, the lamp broke within a couple of days and the other stuff too eventually. I had to replace everything. Because all the other struggles it took me a long time to get the water values steady, which isn't easy in a small tank already.
It had me wondering if it wasn't better to quit, especially after my aquarium started leaking. But decided to make a new plan: a new aquarium. A fresh start.

We're gonna get a 100x65x45 with a water level of 55. In total almost 70 gallons. With new and fresh technique, that hopefully will work properly haha. I'll post a list of the technique I will use.
I'm planning on keeping you updated on the developments of my new tank once it has arrived. :)

I currently have these fish in my tanks, along with some LPS and soft corals, and a single SPS that is still going strong.
1 Bispionsa angel
2 Clown fish (standard Ocellaris)
1 bicolor blenny
1 Chrysiptera Hemicyanea
1 cleaner shrimp
2 Bubble tip anemones
A couple of snails and hermit crabs
I also got quite the Zoanthids collection, which I'm planning on expanding.
All the fish and corals will go to the new aquarium.

I'm planning on putting 2 Royal grammas in my tank once I've gone through the start-up and I'm sure the aquarium is ready for it. I'm still figuring out which other fish I will add, but I'm not sure which ones. And that will most likely be pretty far into the future.

Oh boi, almost forgot the pictures!

And older one, but one of my favourites, apparently my cat and I share the same passion for fish. Although, I think in slightly other ways.
