Klir base plate leaks

I have the klir 4 mounted on the klir stand. I've noticed that it leaks around the base plate where the plate fits into the stand. If I twist the klir around a bit and leave it off center the leak slows. It seems the base plate just doesn't sit in the cutout tightly enough. Has anyone else had this happen and did you find a fix?
