kmaintl's Oceanic 120g Tech - New Clownfish World

I'll look around. ;)

how many weeks do you have in mind?
Thanks Marvin. It will be at least 2 weeks and no more than 6 weeks before the clowns are put into the tank. I figure since all fishes come from a breeders's grow out tank that has been clean for months, any parasite will show up within 2 to 4 weeks. As for the tank, I should wait another 2 to 3 months so it's mature enough to accept nems.

man, you've got some patience!

Wow, following this thread for sure! It's even more exciting since you're a fellow Bay Area reefer! :)

I've been around the hobby almost 30 years... I was just discussing that with my LFS owner a couple of weekends ago. We figured it must be 27 years. Made our share of mistakes by being impatient. Still made just as many mistakes being patient. What's a few more weeks when you look at the big picture? LoL

Hope to run into you one of these days. I've seen some of your great posts.

Sweet looking clowns!
Thanks!

Thanks for the good comments! Your tank was the inspiration to pull the trigger in starting this Oceanic 120g Tech tank that's been sitting in my garage for about 5 years. LoL

no worries at all. in a few months, I'll be in awe of your tank more than mine. hehe.

Oooooh i love those wyoming whites. Gorgeous fish, sir.

Can't wait for this tank to start populating!

New videos uploaded tonight... thanks to Rich (Just Clownin Around) for some nice Picassos, Onyx Picassos and perfect C-Quest Onyxs. The only clowns missing are some "Bad butt or MooCow Dalmatians". Checking for agressiveness, only the calmer C-Quest clowns will join all the others into the 120g Tech tank after quarantine period. Some short videos.

I just cannot help but wonder if your clowns may have shown less aggression in the larger tank? I can understand them doing so in the small QT tank but I have almost all of the clowns that you had and they all have their "Area". Sure they spat when one wanders into someone elses area but no fatalities.
The bad thing about the QT tank is they had nowhere to go to get away.
Mine usually chase intruders away and then loose interest and go back to their anemone.

I didn't think I would like them when I put myself on the waitlist... but when they came in, they just popped!!! I've had platinums and blizzards and there's no comparison. I can't wait until they go into the display tank too.

glad they made it there and I look forward to doing business with you in the future

the pleasure was definitely mine

You're the man! Great packaging, btw.

that's gonna be one awesome clown/nem tank!
I certainly hope so, it's taken long enough. LoL

I'll keep that in mind. I don't have any nems right now as I'm waiting for the tank to age well. The clownfishes will be in the tank before I start stocking up with nems.

Love these!! They are gorgeous!
Thanks, Me Too!

Looking good ed,tagging along.
Feel free to tag along. Thanks for the numerous emails about the WW.
