Knicks in silicone

Are you guys keeping the silicone prestine, or over time (cleaning scrape etc) do you get small kicks in the sealant silicone on your tank? I used a flipper and have over time gotten 5-6 small 1mm kicks in the silicone. Just surface damage all the way on the edge of the seal, but dont like it.

This has been an unavoidable issue for me in the years of reefing. Using a magic eraser has helped though.
