I'd like to present my Nuvo 20g. It's not a new build, however, I'd like somewhere to place updates on its progress. Please bare with me on the subpar pictures, I hope to purchase a DSLR in the near future. Just moved some things around so unfortunately it's a little cluttered at the moment. The tank was started December 2018.

Some new corals (and Stichodactyla Tapetum) I recently acquired. Definitely excited that Indo reopened.

I've sorted through thousands of Maxis over the years and never pulled the trigger. Happy I did on this one.

Evening H2O change. I have noticed a substantial increase in growth since starting Tropic Marin All-for-Reef in January. pH and dKH balanced out after the first week and have remained stable at 7.8 & 8.4 respectively. Current dosage is 5mL daily dosed in 1mL increments. Planning on upping the dose today by another 1mL.

Thats such a nice tank. Loving the color on the corals! Hows the Tropic Marine working for you?

Wow! Great work!

Thank you! It has been working well. I'm currently in my 3rd month of using it. I can't say that my growth is any better than using a 3-part dosing system, but the tank has remained chemically stable for the last two months and I haven't seen any dramatic PM drops in pH.

People aren't kidding when they say these M. palawanensis grow slow. I've had the Crazy T for a year... Albeit the thing died back to nothing but a few polyps a couple months in, but I'm glad it's finally starting to move off the plug.

Been considering a few invert options for this maxi to host. Local store has a couple white spot shrimp (P. brevicarpalis), but I'm thinking of doing a Venus or Pederson instead (A. venustus/A. pedersoni). Anyone have other interesting suggestions?

Relatively new addition. This is at night just before lights off so it's a bit retracted. You can see its tentacles beginning to emerge. I have high hopes for this piece, especially with that yellow starting to fill in from the edges. My track record with Symphyllia has been hit or miss up to this point.

Really beautiful Corals. Maybe sexy shrimp for the anemone.

That is beautiful. I have been looking at Umbrella Shroom as well.

Well, stuff must be growing! it's been a week since upping the dose on the All-for-Reef. I started by raising 1mL last week but that didn't seem to do the trick and I was still noticing a 0.1 dKH drop daily. I've gone ahead and upped it to 8mL from 5mL and it's finally leveled out the last few days at 8.5 dKH. I tend to watch my monti cap to evaluate growth. I figure if I see a white growth edge I'm getting rapid growth. As soon as that edge turns red, I know the dose needs to be raised. I can see how this product can get quite expensive to use. I thought I'd be fine with 5mL for awhile....I was wrong!

This is definitely one of the nicer one's I've seen. I had been holding off on purchasing the greens for months, happy I did.

Grow baby grow! Trying to find someone local that has a frag of Altered Ego. Would really finish off this small monti garden and fit in well with the Crazy T and Beach Bum.

Traded some corals today for this beauty, roughly 2" across. Tank is really on auto-pilot and I haven't done a water change for the last month. I'm currently feeding Reef Roids 3x a week (1/4 tsp). I feel like I'm overfeeding but nutrient levels haven't jumped up at all.
