Basically one of if not the best additive I've used in my tank, and frankly the only thing I've noticed real results with.

That said, I'm needing to add an awful lot to get any no3 to show up with my red sea low level kit. Like 3 times what some others have said for dosing.

What I'm worried about is Potassium creeping up. Does this happen? Is it a problem that needs to be somehow dealt with?

I have a red sea Potassium test kit but its very involved, time consuming and leaves a lot of questions as to how valid it might be.

I haven't been too concerned with potassium, the Salifert potassium test is a WAY better test than the Red Sea test. Much simpler/less time consuming/easier to read. Mine hasn't changed much, but I also do what is the equivalent of 10% weekly waterchanges too.

Awesome thanks, I'll grab a salifert kit
