My reef is now 7 months old and have been enjoying every minute of it.

It is mostly SPS, but have a few rainbow acans and Z & P's filling up the bottom.

Tank: 65 Gallon ADA 120p 48x18x18
Skimmer: SWC 160 Xtreme Cone Skimmer
Lights: 48" Reef Brite XHO LED Lights (2 blue and 1 white)
Powerheads - 2 x MP40
Dosing Pumps: BRS with ESV 2 part
Biopellets: SWC pellets in SWC UR80 Reactor
Controller Reefkeeper Light
Return Pump:Ehiem 1262
Sump: 29 Gallon tank with a couple baffles
Overflow: Custom
Stand: Custom

I plan to post progession pics as the reef grows and will start with this low quality P&S shot, that way future pics will look so much better :)

I dont plan to change much, but we know how that goes. If I had to change something, I would probably try to get better light spectrum with either a few T5's or some additional LED colors.

Great tank...love the scape!!! I also ran reef brights a while back and I understand how hard it is to take color correct photos with the blue led's on....good job!

Here is a new untouched pic. I am finally seeing some good growth from my SPS. I have a bit of algae I am working on, probably cause I was out of town two weeks last month. Not much has has changed besides adding some T5's to my LED's. I hope to see more colors in my SPS in the upcoming weeks\months.

Looks goo man! Rocks look awesome!

Thanks everyone.

Hi nice tank vhot live rock you use also vhot T5 you adding to your light .
I added a 6 bulb ATI fixture. The last pic has (from front to back) RB, Blue+, Aquablue, Blue+, Blue+, Purple+, Blue+, RB.

Im willing to try other bulb combos if any one has a recomendation. Many run ATI Actinic bulbs, but not sure if I need those.

Its very bright, the fixture measures 17 3/4 wide with the Reef Brites attached and my tank is only 17 3/4 wide.

Thanks revgirl.

Finally seeing some better colors from my corals, although you wont be able to tell from the pic. My acans were the first ones that got better colors after my change from LED's to T5's. Nothing much else going on in the tank, besides adding a clean up crew. Still just trying to dial in the perfect balance in the tank. Everything is growing nice and slow; its almost a year old.
