Hi Guys,
Brand new to the whole quarantine thing.
Picked up a juvenile Kole Tang about 2 weeks ago and decided to set up a QT tank for observation as he is SO small.
Anyway he has been doing fine and hadn't noticed any signs of disease, until today.
I noticed him scratching/ flashing on some of the pipework that is in the tank.
No spots that I can see, and no other visible signs of anything. I haven't medicated at all yet.
So was wondering what would be the best course of action from here.
Thanks

Flashing is typically caused by parasites. Recommend treating with copper for 2 weeks to a month (month is preferred). After that treat with general cure for two weeks.

This isn't me talking trash but what was the point of getting a qt tank and just waiting for a disease? He could just not display symptoms and actually have something, like imagine if you didn't catch him flashing

Thanks guys,
Will pick up some cupramine and start the treatment.
Unfortunately I can't seem to find General cure or Prazipro here in Australia But can get Praziquantel in tablet form
