Seems my fish get weird scrapes coincidentally when my clown fish have eggs (but they always have eggs sp who knows.) I had a suspicion it was them them but this might be the proof. What do you think?

Notice upper and lower jaw looking marks.

Definitely looks like a bite. I would just keep an eye on it and make sure it heals up on its own.

Of course I leave for a 3 night trip tomorrow morning, but I am confident he'll be fine. The kole is otherwise very healthy and and he recovered pretty quick the last time I noticed similar scrapes. Hopefully the other fish will learn there should be a 10" no swim zone around those clown eggs.

He will be fine. My female clown loves to take bites of my Kole whenever he gets near her corner. Looks exactly like the picture, and usually heals after a few days.

Agree the fish will likely heal up just fine :)

I second what everybody else is saying. I'd say about once a month my Kole forgets that the clowns like the area by the anemones and takes a shot from her that looks exactly like that. Always heals up fine and then next month it'll forget again.
