I would dose the tank with prazipro. Keep the skimmer on but remove the cup so the bubbles overflow into the sump.

Freshwater dip that dude! Get him some relief and a full belly before dosing anything... Then id still be wary of any meds I the display

Prazipro is reefsafe and breaks down after 3 days.

The kole tang is stressed. The stress could be from disease or parsasites, bullying, to much disruption in or around the tank, or temperature changes.

What kind of water should I put him in ? How long ?
Thanks

Severe color loss like that is just as likely to be velvet as flukes, perhaps more so.

For sure, it's stress related. As said it could be disease, parameters, etc. Color loss that severe in a Kole I am almost positive is either disease or very bad parameters (very hot water, very high salinity, high ammonia).

Is the fish swimming in to powerheads? Flashing? Scratching? Breathing heavily? Hiding from light? Hiding more in general? Swimming erratically out of nowhere, any spots or dustings?

I recommend it for two reasons:

If he's that stressed, and it is indeed a parasite you'll see it in the dip most of the time, and it will provide you with a couple days to feed him because most medications will greatly reduce his appetite.

The above is a great guide add provides the necessary information as well as a video.
