Kole Tang HLLE?

My Kole Tang came down with what appears to be a case of HLLE while going through copper QT. I just put him in my DT and am feeding plenty of Nori soaked in Selcon. Anyone know if this can heal or is it so severe that he will be scarred for life?

When I first bought my 210 gallon used it came with a blue tang which had pretty severe HLLE, but was otherwise healthy. Once the tank was in my possession I began using RO/DI water and the HLLE actually cleared up to the point that it was no longer noticeable. So I will say in my experience it can heal, if whatever is causing it is removed!

Agreed, it can heal at least partially but may not heal all of the way. Keep and eye out for secondary infections
