So I have had this kole Tang about a month now.. he has always been very happy swimming around and eating like crazy resently though (like 2 or 3 days) he is looking pale and for about a week has been kinda skinny, still the same behavior though. He has like 3 tiny white spots also for about a week (they come and go) doesn't look like ich though. Any possibilities?? He does have anyone pick on him btw pretty much top dog shares that title with a raccoon butterfly. I have a 72 bowfront.

Can you show us a picture?

What food does she receive and how often?

Tang looks really thin. Has it been given a freshwater dip and or treated for worms/flukes with Prazipro & metro, or General Cure?

That fish is severely emaciated. If it eats well and still looks like that it has internal parasites.

It will not last long in that state, less than a week if it doesn’t eat.

If internal parasites you’ll want to feed metroplex or general cure mixed in food with seachem focus to keep the meds bound to the food for 10-14 days.

The spots do sound like ich but that fish has more serious problems at this point.

He gets fed very well! Missis and alittle flakes once a day and good quality. I also do seeweed once a week

Should I put him in QT

Also what is this and is it a problem?

Sponges. In regards to the above. Tangs are grazers, they need constant availability to algae to eat. I've been told (4fordfamily please correct me if I'm wrong) that nori is some of the best for algae grazers. I would also feed more. And yes quarantine and treat for internal parasites :)

Also you'll more than likely want to quarantine and treat all fish as if one has a parasite, it's likely the rest have come into contact with it in some way. Better safe then sorry :)

Feed nori every day. Rubber band it to a rock. It looks like it hasn’t eaten in weeks. Whatever it eats, feed more as well.

Feed medicated food for internal parasites as I outlined above, if it eats and looks like that it definitely has internal parasites.

I feed them a ton trust me on that! Can I use that medicine? And the food or don't bother with the medication

Definitely feed with metro and focus soaked foods. Or general cure and focus.

Add nori, more. That fish is going to die of malnutrition. :/
