How guys, i have my reef set up now for over a year now. I have a yellow eyed kole tang that looks like he's lost his mind. Her swims around the tank as fast as his fins can take him. I noticed him getting pale and losing girth. He is swimming erratically all over the place. He has like a light powdery coat to him. He's eating everything we feed him but getting thinner. He's kinda cryptic but not all the way. He is definitely way more active than we have ever seen. Whay should i do. I wish i could snap a picture but he won't sit still long enough to do so. @melypr1985 @Humblefish

The loss of color, cryptic behavior, and powdery coating sound like velvet. When was the last time you added something wet to the tank?

If velvet, you'll need to remove all fish and treat them in a qt asap with copper or CP.

Thank you guys. I will jump on that I a hurry. Thanks again.
A picture would help, but it does sound like Velvet.

Remember, a fresh water dip can provide temporary relief to buy you more time as you prepare to more properly treat it.
