Kole tang skin issue

Hey guys so my Kole tang has got some kind of issue, but I’m not 100% sure what it could be. Would anybody be able ID this? Thanks in advance!

Did it show up suddenly? I’ve seen algae stain a fish like that after they ran into something.

There is also something called “tang fingerprint” disease, you could try running a search on that term.

Sorry to sidetrack your thread but that's a very nice looking tang. Does it have that much purple in it in person or is it just in the pic?
