I bought a Kole Yellow eyes tang, a week ago, she had been doing great, with all the others, except, I noticed when I feed the fish, she does not eat at all, but she eats only algae , is that a normal thing with this type, I am afraid that if there is no algae growing, she will starve herself. Any suggestions?

My yellow eye took a few days to get acclimated, but now eats Rods frozen, LRS Frozen, and pellets... I would get a clip and put a sheet of Green nori in the tank for her until she starts eating what you are feeding.

well it is a bristle tooth tang so algae is big on the diet, but if it were my tang i would definitely want it on a variety of diet, more than just grazing. like what dmac43 mentioned

Thanks for the advice, I gave her brine shrimp and she jumped on it. ;)

Remember, the nori is an important supplement to their diet.
Yo can get a clip with mesh on it for about 4.00, fold a sheet of nori and hang it for the tang and then she'll peck at it until it is gone...
I do it every 2 or 3 days, the Kole, Foxface, Cleaner Wrasse, and Algae blenny all go crazy when it is in there...

Just rubber band the nori sheet to a small piece of pvc.

Or eventually make yourself a magnet clip, use epoxy you would use to mount frags and glue the clip to the magnetic glass cleaner.
