Yes, frozen peas. Boil and then peel them. Fish won't eat the skin.

Do you add garlic to the food if not you might try that I put a small pinch garlic powder with my frozen mysis which I thaw in Rodi and my fish love it.

Actually, excessive garlic use has been attributed to liver damage in fish. I would suggest using it sparingly and only when needed to entice a fish to eat. Your idea to use garlic to get the fish to eat the pea is a good one, though I wouldn't feed garlic every day.

Ok ill get some to try.. personally I never used it other than things that have it in like nori from lfs. This fish is something else.. it will be my last kole tang.

All fish are different. You know how growing up there was always that kid that was always sick? The kid that was allergic to everything and who always had a stuffed nose? Your fish is that kid. lol Hopefully when he grows up he never gets sick to make up for it.

You know I have done alot for this fish.. I have it already eating from my hand.. I dont want to loose it.. but I dont think ill have another

Kole is my favorite but I just don't trust tangs anymore if their not sick they can get aggressive and I have a total peaceful tank now.

I have two favorites but I dont have a big enough tank yet.. I like the lieutenant and tenneti. But this kole eye was really cheap

I like mine now so well I wouldn't put a gem in even if it was given to me and you know what they cost.
