I’ve had a kole tang for about a month now. Everything has been going great. Eats well, etc.
Yesterday it started looking a lot lighter in skin color and it looks like it is digging or snipping at the substrate inside this cave, which I can’t see.
Anybody have an idea what’s going on?

He looks okay.
Possible that he's just foraging for film algae? Are you giving him a good supplemental algae like nori sheets to munch on?

He was a lot darker. Yes, feeding it strips but clowns pick at it too. Don’t really know how much he is really getting.
