Kool Reef DIY 687 picture heavy

So getting ready to move I decided to toss lots of miscellaneous pipe, tubs, and hoses. Think I was hoarding that stuff because you never know when you might need it right. Well I didn't so out to the trash. The flexible hoses were stiff and no longer flexible. They just get that way with salt water.

Come on I know I'm not the only one hoarding little bits and pieces of aquarium stuff. lol

gotta love the hoarding reefer. I have a 10ft by 20ft shed full of aquarium stuff lol.

Just bought some Sine wave DC return pumps. Think I'm going to retire my reeflo pump even though it is pretty quite for a large AC pump. the sine wave pumps are virtually silent.
I'm goin to start with the 5200GPH and change pump and see if its enough return flow. I can always add in a second if needed.

The other one will send water to my I am BRUTE 32 gallon skim monster.

No i dont have any pix of that. It is kind of a mess. Lights, tanks, pumps, pvc pipe, hoses, etc. Too much stuff.

Well after a nice 3 year hiatus thought I'd check in to see how my favorite Florida Reefer is doing... lol

Will take me a while to read all of your updates Joe, and may even encourage me to post up 3 year's worth of mine.

Yes I have posted a lot sense you were last on here but not much lately until today. Let me know what you think about the build so far.

@TJ's Reef Don't pay attention to how fat I was when looking through the video etc. I've lost 60+ pounds this year.

AWESOME BUILD my friend, but now need to take a nap after that read... I will see about putting together a new build thread for my mostly DIY 187g here shortly.
