Has anyone else had any trouble with these? Mine has frozen up twice, and this time I can't get it working again... Both the o rings are in place, but the top light gray peice that the top o-ring goes on has completely frozen up and wont spin, or is it even suppose to spin? I'm assuming since the bottome one does the top should too..

got it spinning, but now its running backwards... Any ideas?

after googling it I found the answer somewhat. My bushings were stuck on the part of the motor that spins rather than in the housings like they were suppoose to be. I thought it was similair to the old style and suppose to be that way. After correcting it via the slipped bushing pictures it is running correctly and smoothly. Better than its run since I got it.

Moral here, if you have the new K EVOs check for frozen bushings if you have a problem! Mine were stuck with calcium buildup... hopefully I wont have to do that every week -.-

E mail hydor and they will send you new bushings that will not run backwards. Just got mine and they have worked perfect.

Well, I guess I'll give hydor a call and see if theyll send me new bushings. They have frozen up again (not slipped as most people are having trouble with). Mine completely stops the pump from working. 4th time in less than a month. Not really the reliability I expected out of hydor...

I would contact them for sure. They do have an incredible customer service team. I have had some problems with my regular Koralias and they have helped me out every single time.

Thanks, I'll likely do that. I soaked it in a strong vinegar solution for 2 hours today and it is working like new. I dont get how the calcium is building up inside that so bad.. and not in my skimmer like it use to. Ah well, those with high CA salts use caution with the new evo units.
