Since the Nanostreams seem to be in no availabilty and they have had a rather 50/50 view on their quality i just seem to to think the koralia's are a little better at the time being.

I want to replace my MJ 12 and replace it with either 1 or 2 of the koralia's. What pump sizes would be best one of the 2's or 2 of the 1's?

I already have a mag 7 for the return and the MJ pushing around 21-23x overturn, but still have some dead spots.

Adding a #2 would give me around 28x overturn and adding 2 of the 31's would give me 33x overturn. Which would suit me better. It's a mixed reef, with some sps, zoa's, shrooms etc.

Thanks :)

I don't like my koralia 1. Variable flow, yes, but only over a short distance.
They have a V shaped flow with most of the flow on the outsides.

What size tank is this going into?

This is about a month ago shot but, not too drastic of a rock change. I was thinking 2 koralia's either 2 of the 1's, 2 of the 2's ,or a #1 and a #2.????

Just a photo to show where i would put these. I have a MJ on the left out of the frame...

Hmm i added a single K1 thinking be too much but isnt they are right doesnt travel far, but i guess i think that's more ideal on a tank like this? me also having a 33g long. hmmm

I had a MJ1200 on the tank but i dont think it was enough. I also have the return at around 450gph, so 660+450= 1100gph. Thats around 33x overturn. I was also thinking about taking the return and T-eeing it off and having more random flow, but i will see once i get home.
