Depends on what your looking to do, the powerheads are up to 900 gph each, so i would say maybe a 3ft wide tank, if your looking for some water movement A 4 ft tank would be ok

If your doing SPS I would say a bio cube

It all depends on what you doing with your tank and what kinda of results of the flow inside of the tank your looking for

Will it work yes, it will not be as powerful as bigger powerheads, if your just looking for some movement then yes, if you adding it to supplement others yes, if you want it to be the only ones I would say no.

You can upgrade the power heads to bigger ones they sell, the controller will work with other 12v korillia power heads
