Koralin-like Calcium Reactor questions

I picked up a Calcium reactor from a local craigslist. Picture posted had me thinking it was a C1502 or similar but it seems it may have been altered or maybe modeled after a Koralin. Anyway, I am trying to identify what i need to do to make it run correctly. It has yet to be connected but needs some mods. Im adding an Apex pH monitor and there seems to be a hole for that. There seems to be two connections for air hose. Im assuming that the one near the bubble counter is the line coming from my regulator. The second is where i would think the "in" from my maxijet would be but maybe it was altered

It's the feed line connection that would draw tank water in...
...like you noted it looks to be a barb connection with a cover over it similar to a push connection (almost).
