Hello Everyone,

I picked up a Korallin Calcium Reactor for a good price. I have one question so far as i have yet to hook it up. So in order to feed the reactor water from my sump what is a good pump to use? Should i use something like a maxi jet 400 or 600 or should i use a micro jet (small maxi jet for those who dont know). Also in order to hook up the 1/4" tubing to the maxi jet what kind of adaptor do i need? Thanks

You don'yt need much pressure to feed it.

the smallest one of these will work. but you will have to rig an adaptor to fit the tubing input to the reactor. Sometimes using different sized tubing can help you adapt the pump output size. Does that make sense?

We generally recommend something a dosing pump such as a Tom Aquatics Aqua-Lifter Dosing Pump. This already uses 1/4" airline tubing, so it would work with the reactor without needing any other attachments. This works for most applications as long as your head pressure is 30" or less. I hope this helps.
