Guys the pump went bad on this which was a ehiem 1048 can I replace air with a siccie .5 it’s the same gph and do I need to do any type of modifications so the siccie would work with it?

What is wrong with the 1048, did you soak it in fresh water and then vinegar.

I tried that doesn’t want to start.. not sure how old or how well it was taken

Care of before I got it.. seller told me it didn’t work but told him to send it to me anyway but it doesn’t

Have you removed the impeller? Generally eheim pumps are very reliable.

Yup... like I said not sure how old it is and how it was cared for before... I decided to buy a new ehiem pump... don’t think the siccie is built for this application
