I was looking at Schedule 80 fittings todo my return but they're really expensive so I decided to use shedule 40 and paint them with Krylon fusion.... but Menards didn't have it... They had Krylon Premium Enamel for $10 less...

I got it and called Krylon; the nice lady that helped me stated that no matter what, they don't support putting their paints into aquarium environments...

I also found out that the base, a Modified Alkyd Enamel, is the same as Krylon Fusion's base and that the solvents that evaporate away are simply different and allow the paint to stick to even more hard surfaces.

It dries to such a nice matte and omg does it stick!
Wish me luck being a guinea pig - doing a little Multi Variable Testing...

You will be fine, as long as it is dried. My dualing 180s that I ran the overflows over the back were painted with the same paint. Nothing is dead and my last ICP test was fine. I think I even painted my overflow cover in my 7' macro tank with it.

Thanks for the tip! And for posting your findings

Thanks for commenting! So nice not to have that concern in the back of my head as I proceed with my setup.
