Kryptonite candy Cane Coral

what the heck?!?! Something ate my candy cane coral. I have one blue legged hermit and 2 red legged hermits. Other suspects Midas Blenny, clown and fire shrimp. Would the hermits eat the coral?

Asterina starfish. I found one in my tank about 3 weeks ago. See pic.

I would blame them. Some go after coral

could be that, could be parameters of the tank and it is shrinking as i could not tell if it was being eaten or just not happy.

also did you QT *** before adding to display?
and last item i would get rid of that aptasia on the plug especially if you are not infected with those nasty critters yet. once they take hold it is a forever fight as i speak from experience on this.

The candy cane could bounce back with that amount of tissue left. You should get a flashlight and light up your tank at night to see if you can find anything capable of doing this.

Plug is out this morning. Good catch on the aptasia.

My kryptonite candy cane recessed a bit when I first added it and I bounced back quickly.. however mine didnt react that violently. It looks like it could have been eaten but I cant say for sure.
