I've tried by luck with my first LPS coral but I don't think it likes my placement. Here are the pictures of my candy cane and the led lights that I use. The candy cane is in a 125 gallon tank about 13 inches below the water line ant the light still about 12 inches off the tank. I'm still acclimating everything to the lights so I have them running about 50% power. They are Chinese made LED's that my LFS recommended. I have to Jeabo wp40's on a dual controller that is providing motion. The candy cane is in the lower portion of the wave from the wp40's and they are only on about 1/3rd of the full power. I have zoa's, hammers, frogspawns, maxima clams, glove's and xenia's and are all doing GREAT. Water params are listed here too. Is my candy cane happy or do I need to move it??

calcium 530
magnesium 1610
alkalinity 8.35 dkh
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 20-25ppm
phosphates .03
salinity 1.025

I put it in there Saturday afternoon. It looked good Saturday and Sunday but looked like that yesterday and today.

I have hammers, frogspawns, and a brain that are doing great in the same lighting... I run my lights at 50% right now... I would consider that moderate lighting so how much is TOO much and what would be considered moderate if 50% on LED's is too high? If I move it to the sand bed and it doesn't get better is there something else I can do?

Well I was going by your display above, which says 100%. I take it these are LED's? If so, are both channels at 50%?
My CC under 15% white and 50% blues, on the sand bed in my 40B

When I took that picture I turned them all the way up, I thought they might be needing more light than the 50% was giving them. Yes they are LED's and I run both channels at 50%. I'm going to move it to the sand bed and maybe put it under a ledge I have and see if it helps it. I don't want to turn the lights down if I don't have to since everything else in the tank is loving the new lights.

Moved him to the sand bed and he's still not doing good. he's been there for about 2 days now. any other suggestions?
