Kryptonite mushroom mystery

Anyone know what it takes to develop the black/purple on kryptonites? I am getting a ton of babies but struggling to get the black/purple in them. I did just add led strip back over the tank. More light? ATI t5 at the bottom of a 30" deep 220 gallon

Maybe it's a time thing? Maybe it'll come in later as they grow?
