Are Kryptonite shrooms similar to jawbreakers where they will develop their color as the mature? I picked one up around 1” that is all green. There is also a baby right next to it and it only looks green when shriveled up. I’m hoping I didn’t buy a dud and it will develop the purple.

All of my kryptonites (even the booger sized one that is at most 1/4" across) show coloration, sounds like you got a low pattern one

Well that stinks. Still nice solid green color but was hoping for purple as well. Thanks.

Even when small they have some purple on them. At 1" it should have decent pattern by then. Are you sure you didn't just buy a regular green discosoma mushroom as a kryptonite? I've seen some all green ones close to the green of a kryptonite. Pics would also be helpful.

Here’s a pic. Tough to capture its exact neon green color. I would say the green matches that of a Kryptonite but has no purple.

Reviving an old thread. My kryptonite has given off 5 babies. I gave 2 to s friend. Today while visiting I noticed that one of the babies has started to develop some dark purple patches. Mine are still all green but it at least gives me hope!
