Hi all! I'll be documenting my upgrade from a biocube 32 to an Innovative Marine SR 60 AIO. I chose to stay with an AIO because I already have the equipment I need VS buying an entire sump upgrade. The SR 60 is the dimensions I was looking for and just the right size for my new home.

I set it up in about 2 hours and just got it filled over the course of a day making my own RO/DI water.

I have 55 lbs of crushed coral substrate. I'll be moving my live rock, Corals and fish in a few days an will update my progress (for better or worse) in this thread.

For reference, the current Biocube and the new tank are pictured.

Interesting upgrade... Following >>>>>

Some smaller pieces moved over today. The bigger rocks will be more challenging because many of the SPS are encrusted over more than one rock.

I'm just setting stuff randomly for now until I get the bigger pieces and second light moved.

All set up! I lost one acro that RTNd overnight and the Sunkist bounce doesn't seem too happy but everything else seems to be doing well. Now crossing my fingers I dot get the new tank uglies TOO badly.

August update. Tank is running great, I had very little 'new tank uglies' with the change so far.

Just trying to dial in coral placement and flow for the bottom dwelling LPS mainly. No matter how I set the mp10 it causes a lot of flow on the sandbed and annoys the trachy and plates. I'm trying to move smaller pieces of rock around to break up the flow near them which seems to be working.

Also looking for recommendations on what I could put on the far right rock under the black torch. It a vertical, flat rock. Any suggestions for a flat vertical space?

Really nice aquascape! Curious what size power heads your use for water circulation as I have a very similar sized tank and am looking to change things up a bit.

Thank you! I have a MP10 at one end and a jabeoa at the other. I'm looking into different ideas as well because as shallow my tank is, I can't get the balance I want between good flow up top and lower flow at the bottom. My bottom dwelling LPS are suffering a bit I think because of too much flow. I'm messing around with using rockwork as wave breaks and different powerhead locations but still haven't found the ideal flow I want.
