I wanted to take the opportunity to pass along my experience with Fountainhead Water Systems. After doing some looking on R2R regarding a good RO/DI system and looking on their website, I decided to order their 5 Stage RODI system. I ordered the system around Feb 15. A few days after ordering I got the shipping notice with a projected delivery date...which came and went.
I gave it a few days more and then reached out. Eric from Fountainhead responded promptly and explained that they had been greatly affected by all of the winter weather and associated issues in Texas (I had no idea they were in TX). He then explained that they were having to delay shipping as the extreme cold had ruined the DI resin and they were waiting on replacement media. He offered to give me an immediate refund, which I refused. Eric kept me in the loop while we were waiting on the replacement resin and answered a few of my questions in the meantime.
The DI resin finally arrived in early March and my unit was shipped out promptly, along with a free replacement set of filters. I have been happily making RODI water at home for over a week now and I am happy to report that I am getting 0 TDS out! Overall I feel like I got a quality system and received great customer service! Just wanted to post my experience with this company.
