kuiter's leopard wrasse info? Anyone have one?

I could not find much I formation on these guys. Anyone have one that they could share information on?

I realize the basic leopard cares and know they are related to the moyeri but just not much out there on this particular leopard.

The species is on the more aggressive side of the genus, but not overly so. The general info for the genus is universal.

Thanks... She is with a tiny blue star who is much smaller but there doesn't seem to be any aggression so far.

So difficulty level should be similar to moyeri which sounds fairly easy as far as leopards go?

Beautiful fish! I picked up an Ornate Leopard this weekend from my LFS. My LFS only sells eating Leopards and this one eats very well.

The ornates are very pretty. I asked my LFS to feed this one and it ate like a pig. It is in a 25g temporarily just for observation.

I never heard of this particular leopard before tbh and it had been sitting at the LFS all week. I went to get a china wrasse but it was sold already so I brought this gal home.

Pretty much. Once leopards are eating, they're not terribly challenging.

It is in a 25g temporarily just for observation.

Consider doing a simply prazi treatment. Flukes are pretty common in the genus.

Very nice! Had a kuiters years ago and found it to be pretty easy to care for. They, Moyers and Vivien are all part of the kuiteri complex. I’ve 10 leopards in my display currently, but not a kuiters. LA generally has females available.
