Reef2Reef!
Welcome to my brand new tank thread on my brand new Reef2Reef account! I took the plunge into saltwater 5-6 years ago and started with a 5G... moved to a 10G... then got the Red Sea Reefer Nano. I will assume there's another upgrade on the horizon haha.
So I had this very tank running for a good year and a half until we sold our apartment. Some things happened and we ended up selling - buying - selling - renting - buying - all in the last 10 months. Oh... we also had our first child in March so needless to say I have had very little time to myself. Also, we knew this was going to be the plan early with all the unfortunate moves so I basically wrapped the tank up, cleaned all it's organs and vital bits and stored it away for about 7 months. We finally got into our new home a few weeks ago and obviously top of my list, aside from setting up the crib, was getting this tank back up and running!
After getting it all back together and adding a few more bits and pieces it's finally in operation again! I am SOooo excited! Water went in Friday (Sept. 7) and it booted up nicely.
It's obviously cycling right now and I am going to leave it while it works it's magic which is A LOT easier this time around with a baby to keep my busy instead of watching the tank EVERYDAY wondering when I can move forward (don't judge me, you did it too!).
I'll post the tank specs next.
