What I got here is a standard 40b with glass overflow and dorso. A little loud but I can live with it. I like the sound of running water anyways.

and the stand from @joenels. Thanks it's a great stand very solid and level just needs a little paint.

I an using all gear I was going to use on the 75
-29g sump 3 chamber
-jebao newer DCT-6000. This thing is beast I got it on 50% and kicking sand a little. I got to work on my return exit where it goes in tank. Going to linloc it.
-tunze 9410. This thing is a BEAST I dumped some skimmate in and it was pulling it out in 10 mins. Only problem so far is this thing is dumping tons of microbubbles out. At first it threw out so many it turned whole first chamber into a skimmer! Lol but its starting to diminish so hopefully it stops. I got foam in bubble trap and its helping.

-lighting is a Sweet a350w with gooseneck and 90° I got from @ITreeferVA I was initially going to use it on a 27c but I got full coverage I am amazed 36" spread. I don't know what the par is going to be like but I will go back to my initial plan of a OR it2060 if it doesn't cut it. I only really put it on temporarily not thinking it would cover it but if it works I'll keep it on as it looks cleaner.

All plumbing is tubing. I am using the Hawaiian black sand and an assortment of Fiji and tonga dry rock.

So I initially set this up in beginning of June I have since added some stuff from my other tank.
Still going through after cycle algae' and will posted updated pictures once it is gone

UPDATE:
Changed a350w out for an a360we with controller. Soon to change to a 4 bulb T5/ led fixture.

going to get the 58g this weekend that is for sale on here and use the canopy on this 40b. Then will be able to hang that gamma prestige t5/led inside.

Also just got a 10 pack of chalices off the Aqua SD sale all are awsome and definitely have some potential when they grow out. Thanks agian @VAReefDog

Ok got canopy up and looks great I think.

Mounted some 2x2 and set the fixture on. Only problem here is I will have to hardware it and get rid of the quick disconnects.

The leds ramp up and down and only blue channel ramp up to 100% colors ramp up to 5% and whites stay 0%. Has moonlights that I keep on 20% when light is off and ramp up to 100% before all other led's start ramping. Timers are a little rudimentary as far as programing so I gotta watch it as it ramps may need to tweak it a little. At noon 2x blue plus come on and at 2pm 2x coral plus come on at 4pm 2x coral plus go off and at 7pm 2x blue plus go off. Then just led's left on ramping down.

So far first initial thoughts are excellent fixture. VERY HEAVY but I feel safe for it in the 2x2. For what I got it for I would highly recommend it BUT at the MSRP I don't think I would like it as much. There would be so many more options I would choose over this to achieve a led/t5 hybrid but at that point a diy / retrofit would be your only option at the pricepoint.

All t5 on and max led ramp.

What combo I have I would say it produces a very clean 13-14k.

So breaking down the 28. All live rock put in my sump. Has a few corals on them. Might get one of those reefbar to reverse light schedule it. Just xenia, a favia chunk, ricordia, cloves and gorg so should be plenty of light.

Also this chalice from aqua SD is starting to turn amazing starting to hologram (candy) like. Reds,yellows,orange and blue showing through.
