Is anyone using KZ Flatworm stop for color/ growth?? I heard from a local guy that it’s been working well for him but if anyone has a link to a thread or personal advice please let me know!

I dose flatworm stop and coral booster not sure if they actually do anything. Are your corals to dark or too light in color? Mine are generally darker than I’d like. So I extremely sparingly dose zeospur2 maybe once a month or a little longer. It really makes the color pop.

I have both flatworm stop and coral booster but have yet to dose it. From what I read it is used to help boost growth moreso than color.

Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna submit my order

i run flatworm stop on a dosing pump to dose every day. I saw a bit of coral darkening and better encrusting. I will continue using it.

I have some pretty jaded opinions about fixes-in-a-bottle over the decades, so take them for what they are worth...

Some people see improvement when they start to dose stuff. The telling sign is if they see degradation when they stop. Lots of the time, dosing stuff like this accompanies a heightened awareness to their tank in a phase of wanting to do better. Sometimes, it is the acts in totality from the newfound push to be better that show the benefits and not one specific thing. These folks often stop dosing and their corals are just as well off.

There are all kinds of threads about acropower, marine snow, etc. that follow this same pattern... love it, not sure and then stopped dosing and world keeps on spinning. There is a common theme in all of this - the more breath and depth of experience and the more that the hobbyist can tell no difference when adding most of these products. In any case, it seems to be pretty harmless so nothing is really hurt.

I'm considering it mostly because I would like a little more color on a couple pieces but I'm not really expecting miracles lol

What's in Flatworm Stop that is supposed to make colors better?

Zeovit.. need I say more?

Apparently yes? I see marketing statements like "will help reduce parasitic flatworms on Acropora and SPS corals while strengthening all other types of corals" and "Long term use can also improve growth and vigor in SPS corals" but nothing about what's in it or why it would have anything to do with making colors better. I'm just curious because it would not occur to me that a flatworm treatment would be dosed to improve colors (unless I had a flatworm problem to start with).
