I started dosing KZ Flatworm stop about 2 weeks ago (8ml a day in my 200 gallon system for overall coral health). Since then, my alk has gone from 9.6 to 10.2 dkh. I have about 30 SPS frags and some LPS frags. Flatworm stop is the only thing I have been adding to my tank (No calcium No Alk No Mag etc.)

My question is does flatworm stop contain any known compounds that raise alkalinity?

Parameters are as follows

Salinity 35ppt
Temp 78
Alk 10.2 dkh
Calc 440 ppm
Mag 1375ppm
PO4 0.1ppm
NO3 10ppm

No nitrate but I am dosing Monopotassium Phosphate to keep my PO4 levels at 0.1ppm would this be the culprit?

Over time, that dosing will be pretty close to neutral with respect to alk, I think. Might even lower it a bit.

It has actually raised my alk slightly. I use it to enhance my corals

Glad to know I'm not the only one. How big is your tank and how much are you dosing daily?
Which tank. . . LOL
Main experience has been in a 660g and recently in a 135g which I just replaced with a 400g

Its on sale right now 30% off at BRS
