LA ich outbreak?

A lfs is suppose to get 4 wrasse for me, when I said let me know if you can get them or not cause they are in Stock online I'll order them. He said not LA because we just received an email they aren't shipping any fish they just had a huge ich outbreak? I went home did some research and I didn't find an email or find any outbreak on this forum? They make this up to stop me from ordering online and pay probably twice as much from them? Or was a email really generated?

I had a feeling it was bs I should just order from LA I just don't like the idea of getting some thing healthy or eating lfs I can at least make sure they eat but is the inflation in price worth it lol I'm hoping they fail to get All 4 by Wednesday as they are suppose too. If they fail I'm ordering online.

Plus I get mixed info from them on here I initial had a red head Solon on order but read they get aggressive so changed it to a hooded fairy and they said it's more aggressive which is opposite what I read here I trust r2r more lol

Same boat no good lfs near me so I was trying to support them if they get all 4 I'll buy them even at twice the price but it may be the last if it's twice the price. Well see Wednesday

I would have a tough time supporting a LFS if they lied to get you to not buy on line. I’m betting LA never sent out an Email about an ICK outbreak.

Not saying it didn’t happen.. just would not be a smart move business wise. If LA had an outbreak they would likely deal with it internally. Just list fish as sold out till it’s solved.

Why would LA send an email to a competitor (your LFS) saying they are having problems?!

LA fish is shipped from a wholesaler (quality marine I believe) in Los Angeles, only DD is controlled by Liveaquaria.

I’d ditch that LFS, shady stuff...
