We will see our last weekend of product sales until Thanksgiving coming up. Often, Labor Day weekend brings some of the best savings of the summer. As we prepare to spend more time indoors, we tend to stock up as I do on items which may not go on sale again or for a while.

What are your planned purchases and what do you hope to see on sale?
Do you have plans for a Fall upgrade such as Tanks, stand, lighting or skimmer?

One thing that makes it hard to plan an upgrade is the increase in pricing and one item I can pick out are algae scrubbers. As Many struggle with nitrate, algae scrubbers are a great component for control however they have gone from $300 to $600 or more. At even 20% off on sale, you will save an average of $100. Sometimes its not enough to make that leap.
High pricing will likely be a game changer from acquiring that one piece of equipment you desire or always wanted.

Oh boy… There’s a tank upgrade in my near future.

My list to buy before the end of the year:

Planet Aquarium 120g tank
Stand
Tideline Sump
Vectra Return Pump x2
MP40 x2
48” AI Blade Grow x2
Vortech Battery Backup
Avast Kalk Stirrer
Avast Plank Feeder
UV
ClariSea SK3000 G3 Fleece Roller

…and so on.

Wish me luck!

I'll be looking at lights (Reefi or Orphek) and a UV Sterilizer.
Orphek will likely have a sale. Ive been using Orpheks for a few years now and No regrets

how is the wifi connection? I watched CJ's Aquarium video and they looked pretty solid.
As you stated- Solid
Programming is easy and never have connection issues even when there is an internet outage

I need a new skimmer, my nyos skimmer is never worked well and now won’t pump at all- despite extensive cleaning.

Hoping to get a skimmer around 20” height that can handle heavily stocked tank in the 120-150 range and that doesn’t break the bank.

I have 1 brand that’s worked well for me and one that hasn’t but yeah that’s my next purchase

Possibly an all for reef dosing setup once I determine if my tank would benefit from one

Little lame here, but nothing. I have a tank to fill with coral but I need to shop around with local reefers before I step foot in a store for anything. I will hit up @WWC this weekend looking for a pair of designer clown fish and anemone due to their sale, otherwise I am holding off on everything until Black Friday/Small Business Saturday. The general sale of Labor Day is nice, but the discounts and door busters on BF are far better.

Any chance there will be discounts on AquaIllumination Blades?

You’ll found next mid week next week when they’ll typically post the sales

I’m looking to upgrade my Apex from my old JR. Maybe some new frags because ya know

I am looking for Robotic Reef Butler, which would test water, do water changes, clean glass, order supplies online, feed fish and corals. Hope it will be on sale. Roboto Industries apparently have one.

I;d be willing to bet there will be a sale on Apex units
