Lack's 90g Reef

Beautiful shots, how bout a recent FTS?

Nice. I second the need for a current FTS.

LOL. I knew that was coming! I'm trying to shield you guys from a tank full of recovering corals. Certain ones look good, but many have a long way to come back. There was a time not too long ago where I thought I might lose everything. I almost setup a frag tank and started from scratch.

Ur superman table is super nice. I need to find my self one of those

Thanks. The superman table is one of my favorite pieces. You don't see it for sale that often either, probably because of the way it grows. Hard to frag it without ruining the way your colony looks.

Here's what I'm using for nutrient export these days. I empty the cup and clean the screen every 5-6 days.

This plus...
a big ball of chaeto growing in the refugium section of my sump

3/4 cup of GFO in a TLF reactor that I change out monthly

2 felt socks that I change out every 3-4 days

a weekly 15 gallon water change

Great looking corals.

On a side note I am thinking of setting up a scrubber for my new tank.

Love that piece. CC always has great stuff.

Yeah and they're very nice guys too! I was having some tank trouble when they released this chalice, but I had my heart set on this particular frag. They were nice enough to hold it (after I paid them of course) for me for a couple months while I got my outbreak of dinoflagellates under control. I've seen enough grown out rainbow chalices that are all blue with just a sliver of red to know that it's very important to start with a nice frag. I wanted one with a nice mix of red and blue in the base so the grown out colony would look nice. Here's a much better picture (taken by a real professional with a nice macro lens) of the frag I started with.

Thanks. The rhomboids came from Kevin at PIA. My lighting is a combination of T5 and LEDs. I have a 4x54w ATI Powermodule (Blue+, Coral+, DD Pure Actinic, KZ Fiji Pink) and three 48" Reefbrite strips (two all blue and one XHO 50/50).

I built these acrylic brackets to attach the LED strips to the Powermodule. I didn't like the look of the cheap aluminum brackets that come with the Reefbrites. I had to chop 3/4" of the Reefbrite housing with a bandsaw though because they're slightly longer than the ATI's T5 fixtures.
