ok so for the last few months ive been finding ladybugs everyday in my DT fuge and sump even sum have made it into the skimmer cup lol so could this and low flow in the bottom of the tank on the sand bed be causing my cyno im working on getting more powerheads but what should i do about the ladybugs

Low flow will areas are good spots for cyano to grow. But i wouldn't think ladybugs would cause it to grow. especially if your skimmer is pulling them out.

Nope, ladybugs do not cause cyano. The come into your house in the fall and now with home heating are getting very thirsty and desperate enough to try catching a drink in your sump. I'm one of those soft touches that puts a small saucer of water out with pebbles in it so they can get a drink without drowning...maybe I saw James and the Giant Peach one too many times.
